What time does the wedding start?
Please arrive by 4:30 for a 5pm ceremony.
What is the dress code?
Formal attire for the ceremony, please! But, it's a beach wedding after all. Floor length dresses and suits, ties optional.
How should I get to the wedding?
There is limited on site parking including free public parking along La Jolla shores drive. This is near-peak tourist season, so parking in San Diego will generally be limited. We reccomend using Uber or Lyft, which will drop you off right at the venue.
Is the wedding inside or outside?
The ceremony will be held outside on the lawn overlooking the beach. There is an indoor space as well if weather necessitates a shift.
Where should I stay?
There are plenty of hotels and vacation rentals in the La Jolla area for those who wish to stay close to the venue. The bride and groom live south of the veniue in Ocean Beach, which has a hostel and many vacation rentals. All of the beach neighborhoods (Ocean Beach, Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, Birdrock, La Jolla) have plenty of vacation rentals and some hotels. Inland neighborhoods like Hilcrest and North Park are also great options.
Can I bring a date?
If we anticipated a plus one, we did our best to include them on your invitation! If you would like to bring a guest or your guest cannot make the ceremony, please let us know!
Are kids invited?
Yes, children are welcome. They will need to be included in the head count, so let us know if your little one will be joining us!
What's on the menu?
Paella! Please let us know when you RSVP if you will need a vegan option.
What will the weather be like?
Expect the day's high to be around 75°F. The ceremony will be held on a bluff overlooking the water, so the sea breeze should keep things cool. Bring sunglasses to look over the Pacific before dusk and an extra layer for when it cools off at night.
